Rob Rufus on the True Church

“The Church in it’s purest form was birthed by God in a state of supernatural drunkenness, liberty and freedom and they never were more in the plan, will and pattern of God drunk in the Holy Spirit. As the Church got more and more sober and intellectual and cerebral and intellectual, the Church got more and more out of the pattern and the will of God”.

  1. Mathew 7:24
“So then, anyone who hears these words of mine and obeys them is like a wise man who built his house on a rock. The rain poured down, the rivers overflowed, and the wind blew hard against that house. But it did not fall, because it was built on a rock.”
    Mathew 22:37
“Jesus answered, “love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your MIND” This is the greatest and the most important commandment.”

God wants us to use our minds! He wants us to follow His teaching – The Bible is very clear on what we are to do.

    Mathew 24:23
“Then, if anyone says to you, ‘look, here is the Messiah’ or ‘There he is!’ – do not believe him. For false Messiahs and false prophets will appear’ they will perform great miracles and wonders in order to deceive even God’s chosen people, if possible.”

Reading the Bible and having a clear mind is what all christians need to protect themselves from deception.

    Mathew7:13
“‘Go in through the narrow gate, because the gate to hell is wide and the road to that leads to it is easy, and there are many who travel it. But the gate to life is narrow and the way that leads to it is hard, and there are few people who find it.”

I think that explains itself. This is a fight for truth. Narrow is the gate! Wide is the path for destruction. We need to be allert with our minds!

  2. Forgive people for making mistakes. Forgive and do not be judgemental. Let the first without sin and error cast the stone.
Love covers a multitude of sins. Love your brother and cover his sins. This is the way our Father is glorified in and through Christ. Christ carries us; lets bear each others burdens and so filfull the law of Christ – which is love. Love does no harm to another. Pray. Lift Rob Rufus up in prayer – not in any other manner. Tomorrow you might be there!

    1. Ephesians 5:11
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

  3. I am astounded that you continue to misquote and misrepresent Rob Rufus. You quote out of context and show very little understanding of what he is addressing. If you are a cessationist then it stands to reason you are going to have a problem with anyone who believes in the supernatural working of God today.

    Mathew 22:37
“Jesus answered, “love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your MIND” This is the greatest and the most important commandment.”

Rob’s point is that you cannot ONLY love from your mind. Its a whole person interaction spirit, body and soul. He is addressing intellectualisation where men and women present the kingdom in words and human reasoning only and no demonstration of the Holy Spirits power.

‘God wants us to use our minds! He wants us to follow His teaching – The Bible is very clear on what we are to do.’ Absolutely! Cast out devils, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers and AT LEAST do the works that Jesus did!

  4. I listen to Rob all the time. The reason I listen and agree with he says, is that he backs up everything from the word with evidence. the fruit of his church, the people in the church and the signs and wonders that ensue are undeniable. don’t mock it if the fruit testifies to the power of God working miracles in others.

  5. The Church in it’s purest form was birthed by God in a state of supernatural drunkenness, liberty and freedom and they never were more in the plan, will and pattern of God drunk in the Holy Spirit. As the Church got more and more sober and intellectual and cerebral and intellectual, the Church got more and more out of the pattern and the will of God”. …… I guess Paul got more and more out of the pattern and will of God ..

1 Corinthians 15:34 – Become sober-minded as you ought, and stop sinning; for some have no knowledge of God.

then it spread to Timothy 2 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

But isn’t it great how Rob Rufus will bring us all back to the real greasy gospel of grace …

  6. …. the reason rob rufus took his drunken spiritual church to HK has to do with taxation laws of HK on religious / charitable institutions.

Australia clamped down on pseudo-charities religious profiteers …

In changes for not-for-profit organisations will have to pay tax on profits that are kept for commercial purposes and not redirected towards the organisation’s altruistic purpose.

The government and the charity sector have grown concerned at the proliferation of groups which qualify as a not-for-profit entity and then launch profitable businesses.

….. now how does the gospel of greasy grace work …

Romans 13:1 /6 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. ..For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.

so if the tax climate in Australia becomes too hot … well there is always Hong Kong ….. so once more, if Rob Rufus can heal in a drunken spirit induced stupor … can he preach the Gospel of Greasy Grace in Chinese in that same drunken spirit fill stupor ….

so now you know how the whole things works ….

2 Timothy 3:-16 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.
